Europe is the second smallest continent and home to the world’s largest church, St. Peter’s Basilica. The Louvre is Europe's most visited tourist attraction.

Hungary is a landlocked country located in Central Europe. Due to its non-coastal geographical status, the country shares its boundaries with other developed European states, including Slovakia, Ukraine, Croatia, Romania, and Austria.

Being a developed and high-income country, Hungary is also considered a middle power in international affairs. In addition, its prosperous economy further supports a high human development index that provides citizens with health care and free secondary education.

Possessing a rich history of contributions to art, music, literature, science, and technology, it is a popular tourist destination in Europe, attracting 24.5 million tourists in 2019.

There are exciting opportunities for foreign nationals if they wish to immigrate to Hungary, as a higher standard of living awaits them there.
The immigration programs of Hungary include the following:

Skilled foreign workers who wish to immigrate to Hungary as highly qualified workers are required to apply for a European Union Blue Card first. These individuals must have a Blue Card first before they enter Hungary. This card authorizes foreign workers to work and live in the country.

However, in certain scenarios, the workers are allowed to apply for the EU Blue Card while remaining in Hungary. The EU Blue Card will enable them to reside in Hungary and hold a position requiring high ability. This indicates that you must possess the higher qualifications needed for the job, in addition to the job paying a specific salary that is fixed annually following a method of computation specified by the government.

Hungary allows its citizens to reunite with their immediate family by inviting them to the country. Under the family reunification visa, a Hungarian citizen’s spouse and family members can apply for this permit.

To pursue this procedure, the proper documentation of the relationship must be provided, including marriage certificates and children’s birth certificates. Spouses and minor children of Hungarian residents or citizens are eligible for a specific dependent visa category known as family reunification.

The application for the family visa may be submitted concurrently with the primary residency application or following the initial residency’s approval, depending on the principal applicant’s procedure. Dependent visa holders will have the same privileges as the primary applicant.

Hungary encourages direct foreign investment in the country by encouraging business immigration programs. Under these programs, the government offers temporary and permanent residence permits to business owners who are active participants in operating their businesses.

To avail of this opportunity and to initiate business immigration, foreigners are required to establish a Hungarian company. Following the process, a proper business plan should also be included in the application process. Further, a specific amount in local currency may also be mandatory to demonstrate in bank transactions.
